| MACAU MACAU MACAU. happy belated joyce! sry didnt get the date.. anywa met 3+ ppl on this trip so awesome... my cousin at the departure, ritz at macau, steph su at macau airport, lizz at taipei airport... =D but the best thing of this vacation WAS THE BUNGY JUMP YESS BABY OHHHH YES! BUNGY BUNGEE BUNGY BUNGEE anyway there wasnt too much to do in macau actually... shopping is pretty blah although the food is not bad, its not the best, architecture was nice, but really there was only gambling. anyway photos the hotel
 nice personalized keys
the hotel was really nice except for a few things... like crappy toothbrush and AUTOMATIC MINI BAR rawr.. if you lifted up any item from the mini-bar for more than sixty seconds, they charge you for it. so tricky right? the bed was really nice too, i've never slept on a bed with 5 pillows like the ones in those nice interior design magazines. SO COMFY! 310 threadcount its uber.. we should have our hotel parties at some place like this. also, the speaker is ipod-compatible, stupid because it cant connect other stuff, but great because it charges the pod at the same time. plus, they had REALLY NICE SLIPPERS.
because you never know when nature calls

remains of some old old church now called 大三巴
 大三巴 from macau tower
 THE MACAU TOWER!
58th floor of the tower, the most terrifying floor ever
SO, there are two kinds of jumps available fro the tower. one is the sky jump, where either one or two ppl together, are released from the top of the tower and sent flying off till the bottom. no bouncing, just WHOOP! straight down. the other kind would be the "bungy" as these australians call it haha, managed by AJ hackett is the macau tower bungy. someone skyjumping
so so i have to type this up or else im gna forget this memory so so BUNGY! at first i was walking aroundthe outdoor observation deck w/ my mom and seeing ppl do the skywalk (walking around the outside of the tower) and freezing our butts off (it was so cold).. and then later, someone was GNA BUNGY! omg it was so cool to see him cz never saw anyone jump before... so that guy did it and everyone was surrounding the glass behind him and looking at him... and his girlfriend was there too! they were cute haha, and the guy was vietnamese anyway not important. so then later after MUCH MUCH thinking (i mean like a LOT of thiking and random walking around and stuff... ) my mom and i were next to the elevator about to go down... and then i kept thikning and mom kept talking and just kept thikning and finally I NEED STH TO REMEMBER MACAU RIGHT? so YES decided to pay for some expensive (i mean EXPENSIVE) jump! YAY! was getting kind of nervous by then.. and then they started to suit me up but then it wasnt that bad i guess... didnt feel so nervous.. and then later i stepped out on the platform on the exterior of the tower, the guy sat me down, and tied some very thick layers of towels around my ankles, and tied me up to the safety cord so i wont fall off. and while they were adjustig the ropes for my jump, the guy was saying to the other guy how "yeah i think the rope was too long for the last few jumps you know? so this one maybe we should..." and more of those kind of talks WHICH WAS LIKE OMGOMGOMG SHUTTUP PLEASE LET ME BE SAFE! so then i was just sitting by the metal platform and leaning back tryin to relax... and honestly, it felt really nice to be there.. the view was great and you couldnt see directly down so it wasnt bad at all. getting suited up for the bungy
later though, when i had to get up.. OMG things were getting worse. so since the feet is tied up, you couldnt really walk u know? so then i had to take baby steps and wiggle like a penguin -ish to walk to the small platform that protruded from the large metal platform... omg that was SO SCARY, cz as i approached the small platform... the small cars, tiny people, building roofs started to emerge directly below... oh my god it was inredibly scary to think that you'll fall off the platform and have no support until a few seconds when the rope starts to tighten.. you kno wwhat i mean? its literal free fall for a while until the rope begins to pull on you... the guy instructs me and says you have to stick out your chest and spread the arms and just fall forward! its like standing at the foot of the bed and fallign onto your pillow! its not that hard! OMG it was hard. so as i inched towards the very edge, i was so scared i would fall over. u konw what i mean right? its as if ur walking on a very narrow path and it feels like youre gna fall over anytime when ur actually NOT gna fall over (because its just like walking in a straight line on a wide path).. and except if u fall off this narrow path it would be 60 floors off... and also it was rather windy and i ... omg standing still and just looking around was terrible! during those moments i was just thinkin LET ME JUMP OFF PLEASE LET ME JUMP OFF because standing there felt so SDIOXLASDF! so guy told me to keep going forward... until the very EDGE OF THE PLATFORM OMFG.. a part of my feet were kind of dangling off .. and the rest would be terrified on the platform... and the guy detaches this cord that would hold me safe n the platform.. and he says "safety's off!" OMG THAT MOMENT EVEN WORSE. then you could REALLY FALL OFF WITHOUT INTENDING TO! and finally the guy said.. just look at the sky.. and forget about what's below THE MOST TERRIFYING MOMENT EVER (i do have eyes.. the wind was strong)
they counted FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE!!!! i leaned forward and jumped. WOO
i could actually hear the crowd cheering behind the glass as i jumped. eyes closed omg. after probably fractions of a second, i got used to it and man that felt SO GOOD OMG FLYING SO SO SO GOOD. but BAM immediately that ended... it took four seconds to get to the bottom of 60 floors (233 meters), the highest commercial bungee jump in the world. omg IT WAS SO AWESOME.. but the best part only lasted so long ... wish it was longer (but i guess not) and then the bungee pulled up for a while and then just started to hang around 30+ meters off the ground.. and then my head started to hurt cz it was upside down for a while.. and finally they lengthened the ropes so i landed on this big airbed and the guy untied me =) oh man the video doesnt relaly work online.. im like a dot falling off of the tower cant see crap haha
 and that was macau =)
